Prison Break
The concept: A guy goes to jail in order to break out his brother, who is on death row.
Awesome. Amazing. So smart. I'm worried about what they'll do next season, AFTER they break out of the prison but for now I'm enjoying the ride. The thing with the toe freaked me out even though I knew it was coming (read it in Entertainment Weekly.) I'm a big Link the Sink fan from when he was on John Doe (why did you get cancelled?) And the main guy, Michael Scofield, what a sexy bitch! He's got the hottest little know-it-all smirk.
Reunion
The concept: Each show is another year in the lives of 6 friends leading up to the present when one of them kills the other.
A little disappointing. They tried so hard to cram all the timely references into the first episode that it was annoying. The pink alligator logo shirts, the Risky Business quotes, the Madonna wanna-be's, the relentless 80's music. I think they could have been more subtle and it would have worked a lot better. And the writing is kind of soap opera-ish. I'll give it a few more weeks before giving up.
This week: Bones (new David Boreanaz show) and Supernatural (supposed to be like Buffy but with boys).
