Hiya! I've made a few changes. Now there is a section to the right entitled What I'm Reading. Use it to keep up with... what I'm reading. Simple enough, right? I also added links to two blogs that I read - Bringing Up Shelby and Roy the Pug. They are both about, you guessed it, PUGS!
Speaking of pugs, I had to take Pickles to the vet today. She's been scratching at her ears and they were pretty gunky even though I just cleaned them two days ago. She's got another yeast infection in her ears! The vet said some dogs get them during allergy season, mostly spring and fall, and there's really nothing we can do to prevent them. Some dogs have chronic ear troubles so I guess one or two infections in a year isn't that bad. Poor Pickles had to have her ears flushed at the vet's and she didn't like that one bit. But then she met a large yellow lab (!) and nearly wiggled out of her harness in an attempt to go say HI. The vet tried to get me interested in a litter of pug puppies that were advertised on their bulletin board but Pickles just LOVES big dogs. She likes other pugs just fine but she is scared of smaller dogs. But the bigger the dog, the more interested in them she is. Silly puppy.
